Schools Out for Summer!

The last day of school is something I look forward too as much as the kids!  I love the end of year Dance Festival all the kids participate in.  I love having the hill full of all the parents as we celebrate the end of the year.  Here's Mckay in the bright green shirt and orange shorts.

Nick completed 5th Grade, Mckay is done with 3rd, and Natalie is done with 2nd!  Wahoo!  Way to go!
After school was out, we packed up and headed to California!  The best way to start a summer vacation!

What the Skunk?

Nate was driving home from work the other day and just before he turned onto our street, he saw these cute little guys!  We have had quite a few of these guys around here lately.  Luckily none in our garage but a few of the neighbors have.  Silly Skunks need to find a new home!

Summertime!

Just a few pics that represent Summertime at our house!
The backyard full of all the neighbor kids and cousins.  I love hearing the kids playing outside and stuck inside because it's cold!  If only we could have this all year!
We bought our potted flowers for the front porch.

The kids stay up late and have handstand contests!
Taking selfies on the front porch with Liv.

And eating lunch outside everyday!

Natalie's Authors Fair

Cash and Liv and I got to gee see Nat at her Author's Fair at school.  She read us a bunch of her cute stories that she has written all year.  I love this girl.  She is such a good writer and drawer.  I love to see the art work she has added to the book too.  This year, the class all wrote a book together and had a contest for the cover of the book.  Natalie's cover was chosen to be the cover!  Funny thing is that when I was in elementary school, the same thing happened to me.  My cover was chosen too!

LIv's Preschool Program

Liv loved her year of Preschool at Miss Trisha's.  She is such a great teacher and Liv had a lot of fun.  They did a cute program for the end of the year.
Liv was a little nervous to sing all her songs but she said her part perfect.
"We celebrated Christmas Traditions in December"

We are babysitting Dex for a few days and the kids love having a dog around.  I think it is great to give the their dog fix for a while and we don't really have to have one full time!

It's REAL Time Again

We have 4 season tickets to the REAL games.  Sometimes we get a couple more tickets and get to take all the kids.  Cash and Liv were pretty excited because they don't get to go too often.  I love having all of the kids with us at the game.  GO REAL SL!
 The girls striking a pose!

A Broken Finger

Poor little Cash broke a couple of his fingers.  He pulled the white table behind the couch on top of him and luckily it only landed on his hand and didn't hurt him worse.
He was excited to get a sucker from the Dr.!
He held his hand out like this for a week or so until it was healed.  Cute little boy!

Go Surf!

Mckay's team beat the first place team for their last game!  Way to go boys!  It has been a great season and so much to watch you play together.  Brett is a great coach and we are excited to be with most of the boys for another year.  GO SURF!

Grandma Turns 60!

We had a fun 60th birthday party for Grandma in her backyard.  The boys planned and decorated and we all came and had a great time. We reminisced for a bit about the boys growing up and the memories they have.  I love hearing all their stories about when they were younger and what life was like for them.   Happy Birthday Grandma!

Mckay's Butterfly

Mckay's brought home his butterfly from school.  They started with tiny little caterpillars and got to watch them grow into butterflies.  Mckay was pretty excited about it! He fed it oranges of course!

Best Buddies

I love these two boys.  Cash and Grant are best little buddies at the young age of 2!  They are so cute with each other and love to play every day.  I love hearing their conversations with each other.

Welcome Home

Natalie and her friends, Addalie and Rylee, welcomed us home with this lovely chalk art!
They were so excited to show it to us after we got out of the car.  They had spent all day working on it!

We loved it!  Too bad we couldn't keep it.
