Lovin' It

This has become a daily ritual at our house.  I was trying to figure out how to get Liv to eat more veggies since she doens't like baby food or anything that could possible be confused with baby food.  I was talking to Char and she reccomended puting veggies in our smoothies.  And it works!  I fill the blender up with spinach and Kale and a little water and blend.  Then add frozen mixed berries, frozen mixed fruit, greek yogurt, and some agave for sweetener.  Liv and I sit on the kitchen floor and down it!  We all love it and I love that everyone is getting a little extra goodness!  Yum!

What's Inside?

Nothing really.  It's what's outside that matters!
I made this carseat cover the other day for my adorable little niece and Olivia was so excited to see what was inside.  Was she hoping it was a new baby for us?  No, just in love with the adorable fabric.  I have to admit I was tempted to keep it for me, but then that would mean we would have to do it all over again.  Hmmm, I thought. So, off I sent it to California for baby Julliet.  Hopefully we get to come see her before she is too big!  Congrats Ry and Whit on #7.

Olivia's 10 month pics!

Look who Said...

Momma!  Olivia finally said Momma today. See, she really does love me, not just dadadada!  She is 10 months old now and we love her to pieces!

She was loving the cash register today.  Love when we bring new toys up the entertain her for a bit!

The Derby

We had our first Pinewood Derby.  It was a lot of work for Nick and Nate getting the car ready, but it was so much fun to actually race!  Nick was so excited, but a little nervous about the performance!  He designed his car with some red lightening stripes on the side and a red U on the top.  He also added a '13' for his uncle Brit!

Nick and his buddies- all ready to race!

It has been so much fun to be Nick's Den Leader.  It was such a good way to get a grip on the whole scouting thing, and I am going to miss it when I get released in a few weeks! ( Just got called to be Primary Chorister!)
I love how these two cars lined up- what's the chance!  Guess who won?!!
They had the coolest race track.  It was all electronic and computerised and the boys got to race their cars at least 5 times.

Way to go boys!  You did it!  They took 3rd place!  It was a tight race.  We have at least 5 more years of this, so we do have time to improve our skills!

Sleeping in 'The Hut'

I wish I could have gotten a better of picture of this, but someone was laying in front of the door, asleep, and I didn't want to wake them.  The kids made an awesome fort over the weekend and then got to sleep in it with the cousins on Saturday night.  When I peeked in, I couldn't find them all, but figured they would wake up and come get us if they weren't ok!  There were five of them sleeping in this picture!  Too bad only Mckay's face is visible.  They were so creative building the hut in the storage room!  I loved it because the mess was contained where I could close the door!  This is what happens when Wii and TV time are all used up!

Helping

We start them young around here!  At least she is still smiling while working right?
She has figured out how fun it is to empty everything out of the dishwasher and throw it on the floor.  SO fun to have a baby on the move!

Happy New Year 2011

We brang in the New Year in traditional Bradley fashion.  With:

A pinata for the kids,  ( so glad it is just for the kids now and I don't have to dive onto the cement in hopes of grabbing, not wripping a few $$$!  Those are fun memories though!  I have a few jeans with wholes and what were new christmas shoes with scuffs to remind me of it)
next was the games.  Thanks Minute to Win it!  We have had a lot of fun thanks to you!
Linds and Brit balancing M&M's,
Dad trying to catch a tortilla.  He had some great facial expressions!
and Nate,
and Nick. Most of us were pretty good at this one, some were not.  Well, one was not and I won't mention any names!

Then the cup stacking.  Good job Jenny!
What is a Minute to Win it party with out the Booty Shake!  Lookin good babe!  Nate has got some killer moves!  Thanks Char and Rick for hosting such a fun party.  I'm loving my Belgion Waffle maker that I won too!  And next year, we will have to remind those who brought the silly string to keep it OUTSIDE, not IN!  (it was kind of fun though!!)
