Halloween Festivities

We had a Halloween party at Grandma and Grandpa's house with all the cousins.

We made yummy mummy Pizzas and chocolate covered bones (pretzels and marshmellows!)

We got to go up to the school to see Nick in his Halloween Parade.

Mckay got tired before the rest of the kids tonight and we had fun checking out all of his candy before the other kids got back. When Mckay opened up a little box of Milk Duds and proclaimed, "What? Only 3? What a rip-off!"

Nat's New Bike

We finally got Natalie a new bike. The boys were riding with out training wheels at this point. She picked out a pink one of course, with a pink helmet. She has a little barbie that attaches that rides along with her.

Soccer for Mckay

Mckay played soccer this fall for the first time. He loved it! We loved going to watch him play too. He was so cute out there with his determination to make a goal every game and got a little frustrated at half time if he hadn't done it yet. He accomplished his goal and received his metal in the end. Way to go Mckay!

The PuMpkIN Patch

This is Mckay and his new cousin. He asked me the other day if it was okay for cousins to get married! He also asked me a few more questions about getting married like: "What if all the highschool girls are gone by the time I get there?" "Can I marry a girl that is bigger than me? (I think he meant older), "How do I give the girl a ring?" He then informed us that he is nervous to give her the ring! Whoa- I hope he gets over that one pretty quick because that is a long time to be nervous.

Every fall when the men go to Priesthood session, we go to the pumpkin patch. After the men get home, we make yummy scones at Grandma's house. It has become a fun tradition. As Nate was loading the pumpkins onto the porch this year, he informed me that we should change this tradition and include the men! We'll see what happens next year.
