Vegas Girls!

So we aren't the typical "Vegas Girls" which I'm sure may disappoint some of you, but we are posing on the strip and are wearing matching shirts! I just got back from Vegas with my wonderful mother and sisters. We had so much fun and can't wait for our next adventure together. Our wonderful husbands all survived with out us,some better than others, and some of our kids were happy when we got home! We ate at cheesecake several times, MMMMMMMM sooo good! I know if you live close to a cheesecake it isn't that exciting, but I still can't get enough. I now have to pay for all I ate and I am not liking the scale this week, but it was worth it.

We shopped at this great store Fashion Q. Luckily we didn't know that we were in one of scarier parts of Vegas while we were there. No, we knew we didn't fit in with those who were shopping around us and I don't know if many could speak English, but we found some great deals. I can't wait to go back.
We hung out at the pool and for the first time in my life I spent more time in the shade. Ash, I don't know how you survive Vegas heat daily, but the only way to enjoy the pool is to have a nice BIG umbrella! Ash came and let us play with her adorable Bay and Davis. So cute! Thanks Ash. It was fun to see you. I miss the good old days of being next door neighbors and sneaking out to play!
So who knows where the Bradley girls will end up next year for our girl trip, but I look forward to the adventure, the laughs, the smells, the eating, the shopping, and whatever else it will bring!

The Fire Station

We went to the fire station last week and the kids loved it. My boys have such a fascination with fire trucks and sirens. They got to get in the truck, spray the hose, and had a nice tour of the station. It was a lot of fun! Nat was more excited about the little baby that was with us than the big truck! She is easy to please!!

My little Girl

So this is one of those days I have always dreamt about. When I thought about one day having a little girl and dressing her all up and fixing her hair- this is what I imagined. Yes, I love my boys and actually do love little boy clothes too, but there is just something about a little girl! My little Natalie!! She is actually starting to like getting "pretty" and letting me fix her hair. I know I have been told to be careful about making her think she is a little princess, but for now- she is!

My Confession!!

So, I have been a little preoccupied lately. My confession is that these are the best new books to read and yes, I have ignored my children just a little, ignored some (okay most)housework, and even ignored my wonderful hubby! All in the name of a good book! Twilight is the first one and New Moon the sequel. Watch out, you may fall in love with a VAMPIRE! I can't wait for #3 to come out in August. I am happy I am done with them now so that when my children ask me to read to them and play with them, I now don't have something else calling my name! So, these books are definitely a good read. ENJOY!!

Sunday Afternoons

So the one good thing about having 9:00 church with 3 little kids and a husband in the bishopric is the free afternoons at home!
Some how the kids all ended up half naked in the front yard and I had to take a picture. One of our neighbors walked by (who doesn't know us very well obviously!) let us know how cute our 3 little BOYS were. Nat does fit right in! I love my little fam!

Slip N' SlideTastic

We bought our first slip n slide. The kids loved it! Nick came up with SLIP N SLIDE TASTIC! It took him a bit to figure out how to dive and make it to the end, but he got it all figured out. Nat and Mckay just had fun running down it and eventually tripping into the little pool at the end. So fun to relive childhood memories through your children! Natalie saw the other kids laying on the cement to get warm, and thought it was a great idea! So funny to see her laying on the cement like her brothers!

Sam and Shauna's Wedding!

Sam and Shauna got married May 5th. It was a fun day!! They had dancing at the reception, and Nick let us know that he loves to "shake it- shake it!" He found a little dance partner and they danced for at least a half hour straight, without letting go of hands. It was so cute. Natalie enjoyed the dancing too, but Mckay spent most of the time watching us from his spot on the bench.

Tank vs. SUV

Yes, I know I have big boys. They hear it all the time too, but I guess I didn't know they really paid attention to it. The other day, our neighbor was lifting Mckay onto the trampline. She said to

Mckay, "you are a tank!" Nick replied, "No, I'm a tank, and he is an SUV!." I don't know where he heard that, or if he even knows what an SUV is, but it gave us all good laugh.

House for Sale

This is our house we built in Bluffdale.

It is beautiful and wish it was for me, but it is for sale! The kids call it out other house, and I am sure it is a little confusing. Nick asks when we are moving and tells me he doesn't want to move there. He will be happy when it sells too!

Natalie's Expressions

My little Natalie is so animated! She frequently gives people "crustys" instead of smiles. She just finished getting all four of her 1 year molars in (at the same time ahhhhhh!), so hopefully those frowns will soon turn to smiles! She is 15 months old now (and no I am not pregnant!) and running all over the place. Nat is growing up so fast. She is starting to say more words everyday. She says: mama, dad, hi, papa, dog, duck, ball, baba(bottle), No-no, Nicko(which sounds like no-no), and nose. She is a climber just like her brothers were, and unfortunately-she is learning how to wrestle pretty good too!

Mckay loves WATERFALLS and his DADDY!

My little Mckay is 2yrs old and obsessed with waterfalls. Everywhere we go he asks if there is a waterfall and every chance he gets to play with water, he somehow makes a waterfall out of it. I took the kids up to Bridal Veil Falls and they loved it. Mckay got a little excited and got himself soaked, but overall it was a fun little adventure. Yes, I know I am amazing to take all three of them by myself, but we had fun!

Delahunty Family First Blog

So here I go! The Delahunty Family now has a blog. I told Nate last night that I was going to start a blog, and he asked "what is a blog?" What is a blog???? I am not sure what it is or why people blog, but I am going to learn!
So this is our life!

Nicholas has been in love with Grandpa's dogs lately. Every time we go, he can't wait for Grandpa to get the dogs out! Nick is 4 and just finished up his first year of preschool. He is growing up and I think that this is my favorite age so far. Or he is just going through a being nice stage- either way- it has been a good change.
