LIv's Preschool Program

Liv loved her year of Preschool at Miss Trisha's.  She is such a great teacher and Liv had a lot of fun.  They did a cute program for the end of the year. 

Liv was a little nervous to sing all her songs but she said her part perfect.

We are babysitting Dex for a few days and the kids love having a dog around.  I think it is great to give the their dog fix for a while and we don't really have to have one full time! 

Is it a Consequence?

 

Tonight, Mckay was in big trouble.  

Liv and Cash were watching as Nate and I were discussing what to do about it.  Nate was going upstairs to talk to Mckay, and Liv said "Is he going to get a consequence?"  We both looked at her in shock that she new that word and understood the situation.  She told us she learned about that word in Sunbeams last Sunday.  Last Sunday when she was crying about going to Sunbeams because she wanted to go to Nursery!  I guess she sat and listened!  

I Love how smart little kids are and how they surprise me all the time with what they understand.

Playing in the Playroom

 We finally got the playroom all set up downstairs and it has been so nice for the kids to be able to go down to play.  The little ones usually like me to come down with them, but they are pretty fun to play with!

I'm a Lucky mom

I sometimes forget how lucky I am to be a mom and get to spend my days with these littles.  We miss the the big kids while they are at school, but its fun to just have time with these two.  And seriously, sometimes they are just too cute for words!

Miss Personality

Being the mother of this little miss is pretty entertaining!  She is so full of personality and really good at getting my attention when she wants it.  I told her to pose for a picture, and this is what I got. 

And sometimes she fights taking a nap for so long that she just crashes wherever she is! 

Swim lessons with Fancy Nancy

 Liv had swim lessons at our favorite swim teacher Miss Nancy.  

Liv affectionately calls her Fancy Nancy.  Liv talks about how fancy her yard is with all the pretty flowers.  She also loves all the princess toys she gets to swim with.

 She helped Liv feel much more comfortable in the water and by the end of the summer Liv was swimming on her own.  I am sure if we lived somewhere where we could swim all year, she would be doing even better, but hopefully next year she will really get it figured out!

Olivia at the Dentist

 Olivia had her first visit to the Dentist and had her teeth cleaned.   She was a little nervous about it, but the assistant was so good with her.  She got to try on the gloves, and see how all the tools worked before they actually used them.  No cavities!  Good Job Liv!

Olivia's Turn

 Olivia was a little sad that she didn't get to go to the USA game with us, so we took her to the next REAL game with us.  Date night with Mom and Dad! 

 She was a little spoiled!

The Best Visiting Teaching Partner

 Olivia happens to be the best VT Partner!  She carries the lesson for me and even walks through snow up to her knees to get it done.  All with a smile!

Oh yea, she also sometimes asks her daddy to paint her face like a kitty, just because!

My Two Babies

 My days at home are pretty quiet with just two kids home while the others are at school.  We spend many hours at home because Cash still takes two naps and Olivia takes a nap and it doesn't always coincide with Cash's nap.  Cash loves to ride his rocking horse and watch is neigh!  

He enjoyed his first dinner of Mac and Cheese.

 Liv got sick and it lasted 5 long days.   She was so worn out!  Cash got an ear infection at the same time and Liv fell asleep while we were at the Dr.  As soon as we stood up to leave, she threw up all over.  I am sure the Dr. was happy we came in that day!

Olivia is growing up

 This little two year old is growing up!  I love my days with her while the older kids are in school.  She is my best little friend.  Most days when the kids leave, we play Mommy and Honey.  She is the mommy and I am the Honey.  I love that she calls it that.  I realized it is because I call her Honey all the time! 

Love my Girls

 I am trying to be better at being in the picture instead of just taking them all.  Sometimes that means still taking them myself.  Gotta love self portraits!

 Natalie is always drawing me pictures.  She is quite the little artist!

Rainy Day

Two Ponys

 We were finally able to do 2 pony tails in Liv's hair!  She was pretty excited about it too. 

She is so animated when it comes to smiling for the camera!  Love this little two year old!

Basking in the Sun

I sent Olivia outside to eat her popsicle.  When I came out to check on her, this is how I found her. 

 She made herself nice and comfy soaking in the some rays!  Guess we need to have the talk about too much sun.  She knows how to enjoy a good moment!

Snow Day

 We finally had a good snow day with the kids home on President's Day.  Olivia was so excited to go out and play with the 'big kids.'  Nick and Natalie were so nice to help her explore the snow!  She lasted about 10 minutes, then was a little too cold.  Nick taught her to eat the snow! So, now every time she sees snow, she eats it.  Hopefully she doesn't find any yellow snow!
