Peanut Allergy

I took Cash in for a little allergy testing.  I had been putting it off because I thought it would be a difficult experience.  But Cash was a rockstar!  He just sat there like this the whole time and watched a little Scooby while the nurse pricked his back and then we let it start to swell.  Found out he is allergic to most nuts.  I still hold out hope that he will grow out of it!

A Broken Finger

Poor little Cash broke a couple of his fingers.  He pulled the white table behind the couch on top of him and luckily it only landed on his hand and didn't hurt him worse.
He was excited to get a sucker from the Dr.!
He held his hand out like this for a week or so until it was healed.  Cute little boy!

Best Buddies

I love these two boys.  Cash and Grant are best little buddies at the young age of 2!  They are so cute with each other and love to play every day.  I love hearing their conversations with each other.

A little Hospital Stay

Cash got Viral Pneumonia and was having a hard time breathing.  We took him into the hospital for some oxygen and a couple more breathing treatments.  We ended up staying the night and almost two nights.  At the last minute we decided to go home so we could all be together for Easter.  We had to take oxygen home with us to help him breath.  He quickly recovered though and is now up and running.  I am so grateful for all the nurses and Doctors that helped him and were so sweet with him.  He was pretty busy and not easy to keep entertained in the little room and in bed for 2 days.  I feel blessed that this was just a little trip to the hospital!
He was not so happy to have the oxygen in his nose.  He hates it when he has just a little snot!  He got pretty used to it though after a bit.
The cafeteria made him a smoothie!  He got to eat and drink whatever he wanted so we could keep him hydrated.
We played cars in bed, play-doh, watched Finding Nemo about 10 times, blew bubbles, danced, listened to music and sang songs, colored, played with stuffed animals.

This is him trying to get the oxygen off his face! I let him do it at this point!
So fun when daddy came to visit.  We missed the Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's house and daddy brought Cash his bucket full of surprises from Grandma.
He got pretty good and blowing the Pinwheel.

Playing in the Playroom

We finally got the playroom all set up downstairs and it has been so nice for the kids to be able to go down to play.  The little ones usually like me to come down with them, but they are pretty fun to play with!

He's a builder

There is just something so cute about a little boy playing with blocks.

Farm Country

Cash thought the little goats were pretty cute, (probably because they were behind the fence.)
Liv loved the little pony ride, Cash hated it!  I thought if I forced him on he would like it, but nope!

I'm a Lucky mom

I sometimes forget how lucky I am to be a mom and get to spend my days with these littles.  We miss the the big kids while they are at school, but its fun to just have time with these two.  And seriously, sometimes they are just too cute for words!

Cash's 18 Month Well Check

Liv and I took Cash to his well Check at the Dr.  He did really well with getting his foot pricked and was pretty interested in what the nurse was doing.  He was proud of his bandaid and Liv was just as happy that it wasn't her getting her foot pricked!  He wasn't so happy when it came to getting his shots and for months after has talked about the "lady" who gave him a shot on his leg!

Flowers

No yard yet, so we had to get some flower pots to compensate for the brown dirt everywhere.  Hopefully the yard will be done before summer is over, but for now we have something pretty to look at.

Busy Boy

Cash is figuring out his way around the house.  He follows me every where I go,
He loves to empty out the shelves in the pantry,
and he loved discovering the park!

Park Day

We were so excited to have warm weather!  We met my sisters at the Draper Park for lunch.  It felt so good to be out in the sun!  I love being able to spend time with these two little ones while the older ones are in school.  I feel lucky to be their mommy!

My Two Babies

My days at home are pretty quiet with just two kids home while the others are at school.  We spend many hours at home because Cash still takes two naps and Olivia takes a nap and it doesn't always coincide with Cash's nap.  Cash loves to ride his rocking horse and watch is neigh!
He enjoyed his first dinner of Mac and Cheese.

Liv got sick and it lasted 5 long days.   She was so worn out!  Cash got an ear infection at the same time and Liv fell asleep while we were at the Dr.  As soon as we stood up to leave, she threw up all over.  I am sure the Dr. was happy we came in that day!

Pinewood Derby

We spent Cash's birthday night at the Pinewood Derby.  It was a busy week leading up to this getting the cars all ready for the big night.  Nate made 3 cars this year.  One for the girls, and one for each of the boys.  All the cars did great, but the girls car beat them all.  (There car broke all the rules!)  I think the Derby is kind of a funny thing.  The boys love it, but it is so much work for the dads.  And then I always feel so bad for the boy whose car doesn't make it down the track.  Sad!

Cash didn't think the night was so fun.  He and I spent most of the time in the hallway.  He is at a noisy age!  He screams his loudest scream instantly and with out warning at any given moment if he wants to get my attention!

The scout leaders did such a great job organizing the night.  The girls spent their time at the coloring table.

We came home and had Cash's birthday cake.  The cake kind of crumbled! He didn't mind!

At least he actually kind of liked it.
