Thanksgiving Bowling

Our yearly tradition of bowling on Thanksgiving night!  I think it has been a whole year since the last time we went bowling.  It was fun and I think we need to go more often.
Olivia wasn't all smiles the whole night, but I think she must have just gotten a piece of candy just before I snapped the picture!  I did take her to the doctor the next day and she had an ear infection.

Hair and Make-Up

Olivia loves to play dress up already, and I guess she loves to put make up on too!  I was working on Primary stuff this morning and she found a way to entertain herself in my bathroom.  Maybe she has watched me get ready for the day quite a few times!  Isn't she a little young to start this already?  I love how it all made it to her eyes!  And she was so proud of herself too!

Happy Birthday Nick

Nick turned 9 years old today!  Happy Birthday to the child who made me a mother.
I have learned so much from and continue to learn everyday.  You are a great big brother and a great example to your younger brother and sisters!  Thanks for being you!  Nick was up at 5:55 this morning, anxious to open presents!  And that was before the time change tonight!!  We made him wait until 7:30, and that was rough on him.

We had a fun party today for both boys at Gymcats.  Natalie takes Gymnastics there and the boys have been anxious to get out on the floor and be able to play like she does.  We invited some friends for each of them and it was perfect!  We didn't have 15 boys running around our house and they played non stop for the entire party.
The birthday boys!
 Mason, Logan, and Tyler
The whole crew in the pit
Nat loved showing us her skills!
Andrew after diving into the pit
Sam, after trying to throw some blocks at the picture taker!

and Liv loved every minute of it too!

Happy Birthday Mckay!

Mckay turned 7 years old today!
Happy Birthday my little buddy!  We love you and are so happy to have you in our family.  You bring such excitement to our lives and we have so much fun with you.

Mckay's birthday requests were a pogo stick, and Backyard Safari tools.  He and the neighbor boys love to go on backyard hunts for bugs, and now Mckay has all the right tools to be captain!  I am hoping he is able to play with it a little before the snow really falls.  We are having a big party for Nick and Mckay on Saturday- more pics to come!

Happy Halloween

The long awaited night finally came.  Nick was so anxious to go off with Andrew and Ty and one picture is all he could handle!
Lindsey was brought the kids out to Trick or Treat with us so Mckay and Houston could be super heroes together.
Liv's first experience going door to door for more and more treats.  What could be better.  She was so excited!  She was all smiles!
 Showing me her tail!
And Superman is off!  Flying away.

Olivia's first door was Jeremy next door.  Luckily he didn't pull the chainsaw out until it got dark.  Really, I heard the chainsaw all night as I was passing out candy!

So glad Nat and Mckay were feeling better.  Nate on the other hand wasn't, but still took the kids out!  I love you babe!
The kids brought home loads of candy and happily sold it to daddy a day later.  We are off to Toys R Us to spend their $$!  Glad to have the candy out of the house- for my own good!

One Halloween Parade

With Nick and Mckay at Harvest, and Natalie at Riverview, I was worried how I would be able to make it to both Halloween Parades.  Nate and I had it figured out that we would just have to split up.  Around midnight on Sunday night, I realized I didn't have to worry about it anymore.  Mckay, Natalie, and Nate, all started throwing up.  They got the nasty bug that I had a week earlier where I threw up at Nick's soccer game. (not a fun memory!)

It was pretty sad the Mckay and Nat had to miss the fun day at school on Halloween, but it made it easy for me to just have Nick to go watch! Luckily they both felt better in the afternoon and were able to venture out for Trick-or-Treating!

Nick wanted to be Kip from Napoleon Dynomite or something scary. After looking at pictures of Kip online and how people dressed up like him, I am glad that we decided on this!
I think he succeeded!

Bradley Family Halloween Party

We had our Family Party a few days early this year at my mom and dad's house.  We usually go over on Halloween before we go trick-or-treating.  This year we did it on Saturday before.
It was fun to have more time and not be in such a rush to get home and start the candy fest!
Mckay decided to be Superman this year after many failed attempts at finding a Skeleton costume that would work.  It's always nice when a costume can be used again.
This picture of Nick, the freaky ghost, cracks me up.  What a funny tradition to dress up so scary and expect little ones to be ok with it!  It just looks wrong to have Nick holding little Bowen while looking so scary!
Olivia was our little Kitty Cat this year.  She loved to Meow and show everyone her cute tail.
And Nat was a Beautiful Peacock.  Our neighbor made her this cute costume and Natalie loved wearing it too.  The wings were amazing!
The day after the party, more than half of everyone got a horrible stomach flu.  It was one crazy sickness and amazing how it spread so quickly.  I had it a week before the party, but somehow it spread like a wildfire that night.
I wish I could somehow see the transfer of the bug to everyone.  How did it spread so rapidly?  It was a nasty one and Nick is still hoping he doesn't get it.  Poor uncle Brit had to suffer with it while on an airplane and long bus ride in a foreign country.  I think we will all remember this party- or more likely we will remember the day after!
