Birthday Boys

Nick and Mckay have birthdays 3 days apart.  It's always a fun few days!

We had a yummy Ice Cream Cake to celebrate Mckay turning 10!  I sure love this boy!  He loves to have fun, could play soccer all day everyday, and Always gets 100% on Everything in school.  WOW! 

Nick woke up to a bit a of a surprise on his birthday morning.  His bedroom was decorated with Hawaiian decor and he got a smoothie in a coconut shell.  He also go a plane ticket to Hawaii!! 

We decided that we will take each child on a trip when they turn 12.  We are so excited to take to Nick to Maui and show him the Island.  Surprise!!

Nick and Mckay also got Penny Boards and had to try them out in the house.  Awesome!

We also celebrated in Kneaders for breakfast.  You can't beat French Toast!

Labor Day Tournament

We spent Labor Day Weekend up in Bountiful for a soccer Tournament with Nick.  They won and had a great time too! The other kids are so good at tagging along and trying to enjoy watching Nick play!

 Nick is quite the jumper on his pogo stick.  He goes up and down the front stairs and freaks me out a little bit! 

Achievements

Mckay and Nick both recieved some awards at Pack Meeting. They are getting ready to move on to the next group. We are grateful for great scout leaders that help them along the way. 

 Nick also got to mow the lawn for the first time with a little help from Nate. 

Newport

 Oh man how I love this place!  The view from our room is beautiful!  Grandma and Grandpa jioned us on this trip too. 

 We hung out around the fire pit enjoying the beautiful night.

 Cash discovered his love for Golf!  He couldn't get enough of it and was so proud of himself every time he hit the ball.  I love this boy!

 We took the kids to eat at Dukes.  We love that place in Hawaii, but it was kind of disapointing this time around.  It is right on the Pier in Huntington, so that is always a good thing. Beautiful location!

 We kept Cambree with us for the week and she and Natalie had so much fun together.  It was nice for Natalie to have a friend to play with all week. 

 Nick was my running buddy one morning.  He had fun exploring while we ran.  He was excited to have found a cactus flower.

 I love how fun it is to watch Nick grow up and that we have fun with each other.  He is a lot like me and I often know what he is thinking or how he is feeling in situations. 

Adiddas Tournament

 Nick played in the Addidas Tournament this weekend before we left to Newport.  They played so well and took second place.  Way to go boys! I always love watching these boys play. 

Schools Out For Summer!

 YAY!  The day finally arrived!  The kids are done with school for the year and the fun begins! Nick had one last project, to make a rocket.  The kids all performed in the end of year dance show.  I love sitting out on the grass watching those kids perform.  It always makes me cry a little!

 It was fun to have with us this year.  We went and celebrated by getting slurpees and blasting the song, "Schools Out for Summer!" We are cool like that!
