Coloring Eggs

The coloring of eggs! Why do we participate in such a messy tradition?
The kids had fun and we accomplished the task with little mess. I didn't have a coloring kit on hand so we made the dye with our own food colors. We were out of red- so we had blue, green, and yellow eggs. We had a red crayon that helped us out.
The kids didn't mind! Olivia was a little angel the entire time. Love this little girl!

The Dog Walker

It's true! Power Rangers make great Dog walkers! We started a new job chart program, (thanks Char!) called Goal For IT. It is all online and free and the kids are still so into it after 3 weeks.
Since we started it,
I have been awakened to the sound of the vacuum going,
garbages being emptied,
and all the kids dressed and ready for the day by 7:30!
Now if I could just get myself out of bed!
Also, I have had help folding laundry,
Chewy has been walked 3 times daily,
and we are all a little happier!
Yay!!
let's just hope this lasts!

Olivia's First Photo Shoot

These are Olivia at 2 weeks old. I kept meaning to call someone and set up a photo shoot- but never did! Ugh! So, One day when it was just she and I at home, we did our own! It was a lot of work! But, oh she is so precious!!

Tape Monsters

Let's just say that Mckay and Natalie might be going a little stir crazy! At least they are being creative in their pursuit to keep themselves entertained!

Holding Olivia for the first time

Natalie and Mckay finally got to hold Olivia today. They were so sweet with her. It is so fun to have the other kids a little older and happy to help and hold her. Four years was a good break!

So happy to have her here!!

We went into the hospital around 8 in the morning and they broke my water around 9. I had the epidural around 11 and she was born at 1:39 in the afternoon. It all went pretty quick. When the nurse checked me and said I was 'complete,' I didn't realize at that moment that it meant it was time! With just a couple of pushes, out she came! I don't think there are words to quite describe that moment of holding your little one for the very first time. There is no greater joy in this life!
Olivia has been such a sweet baby. I am so grateful that she is healthy, a great eater!, sleeper, and not fussy!
The day we got home from the hospital, Natalie and Mckay had Pink Eye! Olivia has been off limits for them and it has been kind of sad. Hopefully we can keep her healthy through the rest of this flu season.
